At GIGsoup we’re always looking to keep things fresh and the only way to do this is to ensure we have great, informative articles and reviews. This is where you can help. We’re looking for real music fans to write entertaining gig reviews, album reviews and general music features.

Have you always wanted to work in the music industry or simply felt like you wanted to have your say about the latest bands, releases or gigs?

Well at GIGsoup we want to offer you the opportunity to realize your dream. We are a cutting edge music website that aims to deliver quality journalism (album reviews and EP reviews, gig reviews, interviews, and general music based articles) to out thousands of readers from all over the globe. We concentrate mainly on the Indie, Rock, Metal, Electronica, Rap, Dance, Blues, R&B, Punk, World, and Folk genres but have also been known to dip our toe into the more obscure musical-fields.

So, what are we looking for? Well we’re on the hunt for enthusiastic music bloggers, writers and reviewers to provide content for the site.

We can arrange gig tickets and LP’s for review so that you have up to date material to work from. We want writers who can express joy, and obviously disappointment, in a coherent way when reviewing the latest LP’s and gigs. We want honest opinions and for these to be presented in your writing. On top of that we are also looking for writers who would like to interview acts or simply create daily music news items.
