After the band’s EP ‘III’ in April, Foster The People have announced a third album as a followup to 2014’s ‘Supermodel’ and 2011’s ‘Torches’. It’s called ‘Sacred Hearts Club’ and will be released on 21st July via Columbia Records.

According to percussionist Isom Innis, it is “a very beat driven, groove driven record” and that “psychedelic, ’60s influence” can be heard on it. Vocalist, Mark Foster adds, “with this record, it’s like I felt like every morning I woke up, you know, and I would look at the headlines in the news, and there was just something catastrophic that happened… I felt like on this record I really just wanted to make something joyful”.

The band shared a mini documentary of sorts on YouTube.com, offering a behind the scenes look at the creation of the highly anticipated album.

‘Sacred Hearts Club’ will offer the following 12 new tracks:

01. Pay the Man
02. Doing It for the Money
03. Sit Next to Me
04. SHC
05. I Love My Friends
06. Orange Dream
07. Static Space Lover
08. Lotus Eater
