It’s been fifty years since The Beatles released one of the most famous albums of all time with ‘Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band’. Last month, it was announced that a 50th anniversary edition of the album would be released, featuring previously unheard outtakes in addition to a newly remastered version.
It has now been announced that a pop-up shop will appear in Liverpool to coincide with the release of the reissue. Opening on 25th May and running until 11th June, no details have yet been given regarding what the shop will stock – however it has been confirmed that it will feature “lots of exclusive products”. The pop-up shop will be situated on Liverpool’s famous Matthew Street – also home to the Cavern Club, a pivotal venue in the early Beatles story.
