At GIGsoup we’ve been big fans of Parisian singer-songwriter Talisco for a while now. His ‘My Home’ EP, released in 2013, was certainly a confident debut and also a real tease (as upon listening to this you simply wanted more). The good news for some is that the ‘more’ we referred to is now on its way in the form of a new album and a short film.

First things first though. New track ‘Sorrow‘ is today’s GIGsoup Track of the Day. This gorgeous indie-pop tune continues where the EP left off and once again showcases this artists abundance of talent. A live ‘Deezer Session‘ video can be seen above for the track.

There is also a new short film ‘Run’ that’s been released, offering a visual interpretation of a couple of Talisco tracks (including ‘Sorrow’). This can be viewed by going to www.taliscomusic.com. The combination of the cinematography and music is quite stunning and this is well worth a look.

The other good news for fans is that the album ‘Run’ (Roy Music / Universal) has now been given a 7th April 2014 release date. The bad news is that this is for residents of France only. We’ve been informed that the rest of the world will follow but at this moment in time we don’t have actual release dates. In the meantime, listen to last years EP and marvel in the excellence of today’s Track of the Day ‘Sorrow’

Forthcoming live dates for Talisco are as follows…
