If truth be told it hasn’t been that long since we last heard from the extremely talented, Maximo Park. The critically acclaimed album “The National Health” was only released in 2012 but the great news for fans of the band is that details of a new album, “Too Much Information”, have now been released.

The groups fifth album was recorded and self-produced by the band in Newcastle and Sunderland with additional production duties from The Invisible’s Dave Okumu and from Field Music’s David and Peter Brewis, the album is set for a February 2014 release and contains today’s ‘Track of the Day’ – “Brain Cells”.

Brain Cells” offers a real change of direction for the band. It has a real dance feel to it and combined with a clever video (worth watching to see a man in his late 30’s cutting some rather decent shapes) there is no doubt this will be a huge track for this popular band.
