London based trio, Peggy Sue, have today shared the first single to be taken from upcoming album “Choir of Echoes”, the follow up to 2011’s critically acclaimed “Acrobats”. The album is set for a January 27th 2014 release, via Wichita Recordings, and the new single “Idle” can be heard in all its glory, below.

To celebrate this excellent new release we’ve also decided to make it the GIGsoup “Track of the Day”.

Peggy Sue have spent the last couple of years extensively touring, including touring North America twice (with a month long run with label-mates, First Aid Kit) and travelling all over Europe as support on tours for Jack White, Wild Flag and Joan As Policewoman. Now the focus switches to the promotion of the bands new single and album. In preparation for the album release Peggy Sue have announced an intimate show at St Pancras Church in London on Monday 27th January. Tickets are priced £10 and will be on general sale at 9am on Friday 11th October here: http://peggywho.com/tour.
