Leeds based alt-rock band are back with new indie pop gem ‘Flowers’
Made up of Tom Saunders (Guitar, lead vox), Calum Macgregor (Bass, vox) & Joshua Hagan (Drums), Sea Legs are fast becoming a buzz word in the Leeds music scene, performing at this years Live At Leeds and being dubbed the ‘Ones to Watch’ by Futuresound.
Following on from the success of their debut single ‘Head in the Sand’ of Autumn 2018, Sea Legs are back on the scene with another catchy, distinctive dark-pop classic, ‘Flowers’.
The track highlights isolation and the ease of slipping into a never-ending negative routine due to self-esteem issues. This is matched sonically by angular guitar lines, repetitive lyrics and swirling Moog synths all held down by tight, driving drums.
The band have also released a mesmerising music video alongside the new single and say the video is ‘a continuation of the piece used for the artwork which develops on the ideas of loneliness, isolation and repetitiveness within the song.’
With national press and radio plays behind them, newcomers Sea Legs are the playlist must-have for all indie music lovers this year!
