2000trees Festival organisers add ‘And So I Watch You From Afar’, ‘Monarks’ and ‘Krokodil’ to the line-up
Cheltenham’s 2000trees Festival (7th-9th July) announced some final additions to their line-up on Monday – with the likes of Irish instrumentalists And So I Watch You From Afar, Monarks and Krokodil adding some extra mettle alongside previously announced artists Refused, Twin Atlantic, Mallory Knox and The Bronx.
After hosting a fan-based poll online, 2000trees also revealed artists playing their unique Forest Stage – where acoustic sets from favourite artists are performed in an intimate forest setting. Popular fan suggestions that were announced for the stage were Moose Blood, Arcane Roots, The Xcerts, Muncie Girls, Black Peaks and Crazy Arm, as well as special sets from Ginger Wildheart, Itch (The King Blues) and Non Canon. These acts will be joining the likes of Dave McPherson, Thrill Collins, Bare Knuckle Parade and Jim Lockey.
Alongside this, the festival also announced previously that the well-known Axiom stage will be opening on the Thursday, sporting even more bands for the festival-goers to check out. They also revealed that even more food traders catering for all dietary needs will be available at this years event, and are even hosting a competition for a £100 bar tab.
With less than 500 tickets left for the 3-day festival, 2000trees tickets are available now from http://www.twothousandtreesfestival.co.uk/tickets/
