The lineup details and location for the 2017 BBC 6 Music Festival has been announced.  Taking place over the fourth weekend of March (24th – 26th), the festival this time comes to Glasgow and will make use of a number of the City’s venues, including the O2 Academy and the Barrowland Ballroom.

The lineup is a typical mixture of indie and alternative favourites new and old, with heavy hitters like The Jesus And Mary Chain, Depeche Mode, and Belle & Sebastian appearing alongside contemporary acts including Father John Misty, Car Seat Headrest, Honeyblood and Warpaint.

The inaugural BBC 6 Music Festival took place in Manchester in 2014 and has subsequently appeared in Newcastle and Bristol and has previously played host to the likes of Damon Albarn, Royal Blood and Foals.
