Torrential weather aside, let’s focus on the important things at Download 2019 – that sick lineup that’s got you here in the first place.
The official clashfinder has been out for a while, so if you haven’t looked at the lineup yet it’s time to plan what you’ll be watching from now until Saturday 16th June.
Question is, what’s the worst clash?
If you’re not using it already, Clashfinder is the best way to plan your lineup and figure out those all important set times. Simply go into the settings and ‘Customise Clashfinder’ to choose what’s on your radar and highlight your favourite acts.
Rob Zombie vs Def Leppard… ouch, that’s a bit of a clash. Plus you’ll have to make a decision between Slash and Reel Big Fish.
Halestorm is being hotly discussed as a live show not to miss, so it’s fortunate they’re not clashing too much with anyone today. There’s some really nice choices earlier in the day. Slipknot is also an undisturbed final choice of the day (although most Download attendees will have seen them once before).
That leaves us with the impossible Sunday…
Slayer vs Tool is virtually impossible to choose between – watch Slayer on their Farewell Tour and final performance in the UK, or see Tool, who haven’t performed in the UK for well over a decade and, knowing them, may well not be back for another decade? Good luck to all having to make that choice. And then there’s Lamb of God and Anthrax too. And Fever 333 vs Dream Theater vs The Smashing Pumpkins… okay, let’s just conclude Sunday is going to be an impossible day.
What’s your worst clash? Come gripe with us over on Twitter. We’ll be doing some live tweets over the weekend of #Drownload, so follow us for all the action as it happens.
