Pulling elements from Jazz, Gospel, Indie Rock, and Folk, BONOMO creates is a project that pulls at the heartstrings with symphonic resonance and a distinct take on indie-folk music.
Folk-fusion artist BONOMO recently dropped their new single “Goes On”. The dreamy indie-folk record, written and produced by Adam Bonomo, depicts a positive message about kindness.
The single begins with a slow melancholy rhythm. Progressing to the chorus, Adam Bonomo’s vocals are hopeful and soft. “Goes On” captures the message through its musical building. The arrangement pulls in the strength of the drums and a heavenly guitar riff. It comes together to push forward the powerful lyrics – small moments of kindness have great power and everlasting effects.
Formed in 2016, BONOMO is a project that brings a distinct take on indie-folk music. They released their first full-length album, Phases, in 2017. The music video for the lead single “Water” went on to win the Audience Choice Award at the Brooklyn Showcase, Silver Sound Showdown. Since then, BONOMO has gone on to become a winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Competition and the CASC Songwriting Competition.
“Goes On” is the first new single of 2019. It is a strong testament to their ability to create a multi-genre track that pushes forward meaningful lyrics. Be sure to check out BONOMO on social media to stay up-to-date on their future music releases.
