The illusive King Krule, AKA Archy Marshall AKA Zoo Kid, has become an international man of mystery, a character shrouded by a secrecy that only his music can lift the curtain on ever so slightly.

Shocking fans this week he announced his second studio album under this alias, titled “The Ooz” it’s set for release on October 13th via True Panther Sounds / XL.

For now he’s feeding the public a steady stream of sounds, this one in the form of the second single taken from the album “Dum Surfer”. The haunting track is largely ambiguous despite having a clearly defined storyline, from throwing up on pavement slabs to the sweet slovak girl drifting into the cab, they’re grooving but certainly heading for a crash. All of this is broken up by his witty sense of humour and gritty jazz funk guitars. Watch the accompanying video below.
