Stereophonics front man Kelly Jones has exclusively told Virgin Radio that the band’s tenth album will come out next year – their 20th anniversary year.
Jones told Virgin Radio presenter Jon Jackson: “We’ve pretty much finished the tenth album. We’ll start mixing it on the 6 September, when the tour’s finished. I’d like to bring it out next summer or spring time if possible. If it all works out well we’re going to release the tenth studio album on the twentieth year.
“I wouldn’t want to do that with a bunch of memorabilia and B-sides and I don’t want to celebrate one album. I want to keep the band moving forward. It’s sounding good at the minute so I’m looking forward to getting it out there, coming back around and playing the shows again.”
