The festival lineups are coming thick and fast and now, award-winning festival, Kendal Calling have announced their lineup for 2018 and it’s looking epic!

Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Libertines, Run DMC and Hacienda Classical will headline the festival that will be taking place in the Lake District between 26th-29th July.

The festival brings together a weekend of all your favourite things in music, arts, comedy, food and drink and is returning in 2018 with a huge supporting bill as well with, James, Shed Seven, White Lies, Slow Readers Club, Ocean Colour Scene, Peter Hook & The Light and The Sherlocks all being announced.

It’s going to be a big summer for the indie rockers, Catfish and the Bottlemen as they’ll be heading back into the lakes to headline the first night, while indie rock legends, The Libertines will be back to play a long overdue set and closing the festival out on the Sunday night.

In between them, you’ll have hip-hop royalty, Run DMC unleashing an array of hip-hop classics which will surely include, ‘It’s Like That’, ‘It’s Tricky’ and ‘Walk This Way’. The Hacienda Classical will be opening the festival on Thursday night playing a new set of dance and rave tunes with the Manchester Camerata, the city’s experimental orchestra.

2017 saw the festival keep an unprecedented run of 12 consecutive years selling out the festival, with tickets selling out just one week after the announcement of their line-up last year, couple that with the line-up they’ve announced this year and you have to believe this is going to be one hot ticket.
