Soon we’ll be under the electric sky.

This is the motto made famous by The Electric Daisy Carnival—one of the greatest and longest-standing festivals of the EDM world. It is one of those fests you go to, and after when people ask, “How was it,” you have no other way to respond than, “You have to experience it to understand.”

EDC is going strong and celebrating its 22nd anniversary. For the past 21 years, Pasquale Rotella has brought in an amazing combination of top-tier talent and hot new acts to fill up EDC’s beautiful and dynamic festival grounds.

Years prior have not always gone according to plan though. Last year saw the carnival hit with record temperatures of 110 degrees and above. Luckily, they’ve shifted their dates from mid-June to May 18th through the 20th. This should be a nice little respite from the heat.

Included in this year’s festival is a welcomed addition: Camp EDC. Finally, attendees brave enough to fight against the desert sun will be able to skip the shuttle and excessive car lines. They’ll get an extra treat as exclusive sets will be played in the campgrounds.

Let’s be honest though, we’ve really been waiting for one thing—the announcement that matters most.

THE LINEUP.

And boy what a lineup it is.

They’re supplying the veteran heavy hitters like Armada’s Armin Van Buuren,  Dirtybird’s Claude VonStroke, and the ever-popular Kaskade. Organizers have left plenty of room for relative newcomers though, with the likes of Jai Wolf, Whethan, and Slushii.

Moving on, those looking for Trance will be happy to see Ferry Corsten, Ilan Bluestone, and Jordan Suckley take the Quantum Valley stage by storm.

Looking for hardstyle? Anger Fist, Darren Styles, and Wasted Penguinz will add their crushing beats to the Wasteland stage while Loco Dice and Maceo Plex round it out with their signature house sound at the neon Garden.

Finally, one of the biggest reveals this year is the addition of Virtual Self, Porter Robinson’s new persona revealed late last year. He is notorious for bringing beautifully produced sets with elaborate thematics.

This article is much too short to go through the massive list that is the 200+ EDC Lineup though—to be honest they still haven’t released the official full list. That will be dropping later today.

For now, you can check out the list of all revealed acts so far below.

Hope to see you under the electric sky.
