East London’s Cafe OTO is well known for hosting left-field and interesting acts. This weekend, the space will be taken over by Omnii, a collective for women and non-binary music producers, engineers and sound enthusiasts. As well as hosting live events, the collective also host workshops and events in an effort to educate people in areas of music and sound, with an enphasis on creating a safe space for its participants.
On Sunday the 19th, Omnii will host the Berlin based label Monika Enterprises as they take over the iconic venue and give a rendition of their new collective album ‘Monika Werkstatt’. The group is headed by Gundrun Gut who has been producing electronic music in Germany for over twenty years. She will be joined together by label mates Barbara Morgenstern, Pilocka Krach and Sonae for a night of progressive electronic music. The show will begin at 8pm with a live Q&A with all the participants!
