PUP have been talked about in music circles for a while now and both Sterogum and the NME have marked them as ‘one to watch’. The good news for the group, and fans alike, is that the Canadian band have signed to prestigious Los Angeles punk label SideOneDummy Records for the upcoming release of their debut self-titled LP, due for release in Spring 2014.

After bursting from the Toronto underground the band’s reach quickly spread to new territories, namely New York where the band recently enjoyed mountains of praise for their CMJ appearances. As their experience on the live circuit grew, so did their acclaim, with PUP being name-checked by influential US site Stereogum as one of their Best New Bands of 2013.

After touring across North America with the likes of Fucked Up, Titus Andronicus and Billy Talent, the band have recorded their debut album with Dave Schiffman (The Bronx, The Mars Volta, Weezer, Biffy Clyro).

PUP will soon be embarking on their first UK tour with Kent-natives Slaves, opening their account headlining an NME Awards showcase at The Miller, London (one of Londons hidden gems) on the 5th February. Don’t miss out on catching the band’s visceral live show at one of the following dates…
