Between word of a new album, a generous helping of singles and a 25 minute film, there’s been no shortage of announcements on the Father John Misty front recently. With his new album, ‘Pure Comedy’, due for release in early April, J Tillman is finally heading back to UK shores. He won’t be here long though, as the intimate London gig that’s been announced is part of only three headline shows announced for the entirety of Europe.

A little ahead of the album’s release, he will perform to three small crowds in three very big cities – London, Paris and Amsterdam. His London show is slated to take place at Rio Cinema Dalston, an art deco cinema with a capacity of only 400. Tickets, unusually, will be available by lottery only, meaning that it’s luck of the draw whether you’ll be able to catch J Tillman in such an intimate setting.
Those who can’t make it to the London show will have a couple of other chances to see him in the UK however, as he’s playing 6 Music Festival in Glasgow only a couple of days later and the End Of The Road Festival later in the year.
