Supersonic Festival have announced a handful of new acts for their 15th anniversary edition, which is scheduled to take place in Birmingham during the weekend of 19-21th July.
Joining the previously announced headliners Neurosis will be Birmingham’s very own industrial metal pioneers Godflesh, with both bands set to perform at the stunning Birmingham Town Hall.
Also taking place at the same time will be the Home Of Metal exhibition which will be celebrating the legacy of Birmingham’s finest, heavy metal forefathers Black Sabbath.
One of the most talked about experimental hip hop artists on the planet Moor Mother will be showcasing her new collaboration with dub, dancehall, ragga and grime artist The Bug over the weekend.
The Body will also bring their terrifyingly abrasive live performance to the festival, who will feature alongside acclaimed Arabic audio-visual duo Jerusalem In My Heart, as well as the free spirited art pop of Hen Ogledd, with many more artists to announced over the coming months.
Beginning life as a one-day event in 2003, Supersonic has grown to become the UK’s number one experimental music festival and one of the finest in Europe.
