The So So Glos are teaming up with homelessness charities Shelter and Shelter Scotland for their headline UK tour in December. The New York punk-rockers have a strong DIY ethic and a long history of community and charity work, and will turn their considerable drive and punk-fuelled enthusiasm toward raising money and awareness for the cause.

Founded in 1966, Shelter is a charity that campaigns to end homelessness and bad housing in the UK and Scotland. For their collaboration with the band, they’re particularly focusing on helping the 12,000 children who’ll be homeless across the UK this Christmas. The So So Glos had this to say to their fans:

“”We’re proud to support Shelter and Shelter Scotland in the UK. In these dark days, we encourage everyone who is able to give away some of what they’ve got to folks who have less. Happy Holidays”

The band will also be promoting their new album ‘Kamikaze’, which showcases a tighter, snappier sound to their music whilst still retaining that unstoppable punk energy. The So So Glos team up with Shelter for UK headline tour
