Kanye West has released a track on his Souncloud page this week that may sound a little familiar.
Following the New York Fashion Week show of his Yeezy Season 5 collection on February, die hard fans were paying attention just as much attention to the music as they were the catwalk. The show was backed by a 20 minute version of an old The-Dream demo of J. Holidays ‘Bed’, this version, was curated by Kanye.

On February 28th West uploaded the track on his Soundcloud page. The 17 minute demo does not feature any vocals by the artist but his influence over the piece is tangible.
The-Dream co-wrote ‘Bed’ with producer Los Da Mystro back in the mid-2000s and was originally planned for Chris Brown, but the track was ultimately handed to J. Holiday.
“I wonder how the playing of The-Dream’s version of ‘Bed’ happened, and not mine, the original version that was released. But I am appreciative to Kanye for the look none the less. I know how much the Kardashian family has supported me and my music and I am also appreciative of them as well.” J. Holiday commented to Complex magazine.
After some troubled times and his hospitalisation in November of last year, fans were concerned about West’s well being, but he resurfaced to go back on the road for his Saint Pablo tour, worked on designs for his Yeezus fashion line and even continued his collaboration with Adidas.
Now this track release has fans hoping that he is back and better than ever, excited for his next album, ‘Turbo Grafx 16’.
