Last week, Canadian songwriter; Chilly Gonzales posted a video online, where he pointed out the similarities between Hozier’s smash hit “Take Me To Church” and Feist’s “How Come You Never Go There.”

Following the accusations; Hozier (real name; Andrew Hozier-Bryne) has filed a defamation suit against Gonzales who has since removed the video.

In a statement Hozier’s manager; Caroline Downey has called the slammed the allegations calling them “groundless.”

Only last week Gonzales re-created both tracks on piano, stating that “It’s almost the exact same thing” before making the suggestion that “Feist should take him to court”.
