Hailing from the small holiday town of Ventnor, on the Isle of Wight, brothers and singer-songwriters CHAMPS have started to gain a steady following. Michael and David Champion have not gone un-noticed by most of the mainstream media (Mojo, Q Magazine, The Guardian) and it’s no surprise considering their music contains elements of stunning beauty, accomplished song-writing and some of the most addictive melodies we’ve heard in 2014.

The duo are set to release their new single ‘My Spirit is Broken‘ on the 6th May, via Canvasclub, and this will also be accompanied by ‘St. Peters‘, another track from last years debut album containing songs of love and heartbreak ‘Down Like Gold’.

The brothers were originally in different bands but once they began to write together they developed a unique and striking depth to their vocal harmonies. Working with a pair of tape machines, they worked out how to multi-track by listening to Sleepy Jackson, Flaming Lips, Arcade Fire and Revolver-period Beatles.

If you haven’t had an opportunity to experience this beautiful folk-pop yet then CHAMPS will be performing at the following venues and festivals…
