An obscure string of aquatic emoji and a dramatic video clip of some choppy waters have been the two clues left behind by Manchester Indie-Rock band Everything Everything ahead of an upcoming EP titled ‘A Deeper Sea’. With their 4th album ‘A Fever Dream’ not long off the press – in August of last year, the boisterous four-piece have certainly been fast to produce new material for this release.
One song from the EP has already been played on Dutch Radio station 3voor12. Eagle… eared? Reddit user fastbalooninghead picked up on the DJ’s introduction to the song, which he stated was first single from the new EP, seemingly comprised of off-cuts from A Fever Dream.
The song, ‘Breadwinner’ certainly has the same frenetic sound as Everything Everything’s previous offerings, with a similar pace and soundscape to ‘Ivory Tower’ and ‘Night Of The Long Knives’.
With no release date in sight, however, fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for future announcements from the band. You can read our review of ‘A Fever Dream’ here, and if that doesn’t sate your appetite, Everything Everything are currently on their biggest ever UK Tour, with tickets still up for grabs.
