Julia Holter, Ramona Gonzalez (aka Nite Jewel), Cole M.G.N and Nedelle Torrisi have released a four-way collaboration single in tribute to film maker Travis Peterson, who went missing in December 2016 and was found dead two weeks later. In addition to having played in a number of bands, Peterson is perhaps best known as a director, having filmed music videos for numerous artists including Holter, Gonzales and Ariel Pink, as well as being a friend of all four artists involved with this tribute project.

The song is a cover of Depeche Mode’s 1993 single ‘Condemnation’ that focuses almost exclusively on glowing harmonies and highlights the song’s innate melancholia. Take a listen below and preorder on 7″ here if the mood takes you – all proceeds from the single will go to the Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services in Los Angeles.
