At only 15 years old, whether she is singing, performing or acting, Nashville based artist Keelie Walker is leaving an impression on everyone whose path she crosses. After impressing, Multi-Platinum and Grammy nominated Producer/Songwriter Bryan Todd, Keelie and Bryan began recording songs immediately and previous singles “LOUD”, “PIECES” and “Hit Me Up” w/ Wideboys all hit the TOP 5 in Music Week’s Commercial Pop Chart and received significant support from the likes of BBC, Bauer, UKRD and Gaydio Networks. Not only that- in October 2018 Keelie also supported the legendary Jason Derulo and was amongst the youngest to perform at Wembley Arena. Not too shabby at all for an artist at the very beginning of her career.
Keelie released her brand new single “This Is What It’s Like” on 22nd February and will follow this with a school tour of the UK this March. With lyrics such as “The centre of my world and it’s like gravity. You pull me in and I don’t ever want to leave…”- the song describes the intoxicating intensity of falling for someone new and basking in those feelings. As Keelie says herself: “The song’s message is a girl who’s interested in a boy saying ‘this is what it’s like’ to feel that way towards somebody.” “This Is What It’s Like” is looking like it is going to be the hit that helps develop this emerging pop sensation into a star.
