Electro-folk outfit Night House return with brand new single To Be With, out now via Back In The Woods Records.
Produced and mixed by Dan Brown (Massive Attack, Jerry Williams), Night House wrote the track after the passing of lead singer Nick Williams’ grandfather. As a result, ‘To Be With’ is a love song told from the perspective of those left behind. ‘To Be With’ explores themes of our own fragile mortality with singer Williams’ offering a stark falsetto vocal. His voice floats ethereally above the soothing sounds of cello, clarinet, violin and double bass. The ambient sounds are beautifully blended with electronic drum machines, icy synths and the warm sonics of Fender Rhodes.
Night House have supported the likes of Ben Howard, Willy Mason and The Magic Numbers. The band have since gone onto pick up support from sites such as Clash Magazine, The Vinyl District and Come Here Floyd with the video for previous single Unfold premiering on LGBTQ+ site Attitude Magazine. Latest single To Be Me is taken from the forthcoming album Everyone Is Watching From Afar.
To Be With is out now.
