After an emotional whirlwind of a year, Ohio band CLUBHOUSE is finally back with new music. The release of “Summerfields” saw CLUBHOUSE team up with Brooklyn band Glassio to pay homage to warmer and brighter times, when the sun shone high and we had not a care in the world.
The last we heard of CLUBHOUSE, they had just released “Kyra”, which garnered quite some attention when it was remixed by synthwave band The Midnight. They spent most of 2017 touring (most notably opening for Young the Giant), but have remained largely in the shadows for the greater part of this year. Nevertheless, they have finally returned (although under some heartbreaking circumstances) with material that is better than ever.
Unfortunately, due to the aforementioned ailments of the band’s frontman, Max Reichert, the band is not able to go on tour anytime soon.
