Poeticat will be releasing a double-A side Single “Kind Words Soft Kill / Centre of the Concrete Square” on 28th October 2013. The band describe “Kind Words Soft Kill” as ‘Diamond Dogs era Bowie’ whilst “Centre of the Concrete Square” is described as a hefty experimental punk slab of socialism.

Hailing from London, Lisbon and Basildon, Poeticat are a truly unique proposition; fusing thought provoking spoken word, experimental vocal harmonies, warm bass lines and incredible Latin American music and African rhythms. That enough for you?

Regulars amongst a diverse circuit they received a 5 star review at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and have played festivals such as Glastonbury, Latitude, Bestival, The Big Chill, Kendal Calling, Beat-Herder, E4 Udderbelly and have supported Kate Nash, Ed Sheeran and Jamie Woon.

The band are also set to play a residency at the Brixton Windmill. The dates are as follows…
