Following support from BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Scotland, singer-songwriter ROJOR returns today with the release of his brand new single Disconnected. The melancholy electro-pop track showcases his knack for universal and emotive songwriting and radio-friendly pop hooks, and is the first taste of his upcoming new album Blood & Bones (set for release in the Autumn).
“My new song explores how easily we disconnect from each other, how something solid can disintegrate and fall apart giving the impression it never really existed at all” explains the Teesside singer-songwriter. “Love can vanish given time and neglect. It explores how our connections are ethereal and how our perception of reality can change in just a moment. In today’s world of smoke and mirrors and shifting versions of the truth it’s also easy to feel this disconnection in our fragmented society as well in personal relationships.”
As well as his support at national radio, ROJOR has played live with The Magic Numbers, Primal Scream, Ren Harvieu, Wet Wet Wet’s Graeme Clarke and Martin Stephenson.
ROJOR will be playing live dates in support of the new single this summer. For more info, head to rojor.com.
