It’s ‘Formidable’ and it’s the new video from The Big Moon. Lead singer/songwriter Juliet Jackson drives her tour van into the Peak District, then climbs into the back to bang out the anthemic track with he rest of the band. “It’s a van that we’ve spent more time in than our own beds over the last year,” the group says. ‘Formidable’ is three minutes of pure post-indie pop pleasure and the video is directed by Louis Bhose.
The hard-working quartet will be needing that van again in April, as they will be back on the road to promote their debut album ‘Love In The 4th Dimension’, which is out on 7th April on Fiction. The spring tour takes them to the British Isles’ capital cities and beyond. Pre-sale tickets are available on DICE for the UK shows and generally on Friday 2nd December through the band’s website.
The tour starts in Brighton on 20th April, heads out to Dublin on 26th April, climaxes at London’s Village Underground on 2nd May and ends with seven dates in mainland Europe.
Jackson, Soph Nathan (guitar), Celia Archer (bass) and Fern Ford (drums and keyboards) will be signing copies of the CD and vinyl album to be made available through their website along with limited edition polaroids.
