Synthpop duo Erasure have announced dates for the first leg of their 2018 tour, which celebrates the launch of their 17th studio album, ‘World Be Gone’.

Andy Bell and Vince Clarke, who have performed under the moniker Erasure since 1985, announced on Bank Holiday that they will play a series of dates in Europe between January 31st and 7th March next year, kicking off at the Dublin Olympia and concluding the European leg of the tour at the Capitol in Hanover.

These tour dates will supplement the 2017 dates Erasure had already announced, including three dates played in the UK over the Bank Holiday weekend, and a four month European tour in support of Robbie Williams later this summer.

‘World Be Gone’ is the duos first album of new material since 2014, and entered the UK album chart at #6 earlier this month.
