Post-Punk legends Killing Joke are set to head out on a short trek across Europe in June, having confirmed a run of six shows that will see the band travel across the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland, in addition to a London show at Scala on 12th June. This isn’t the only recent announcement of live shows for the band, though – they recently confirmed that they would be supporting Guns N’ Roses in Poland and Germany only a few days after the end of their own European tour; whilst hardly the most obvious pairing, it should lead to nothing if not a memorable night. Killing Joke have been on something of a roll for the last few years, having created one of their best records in 2015’s Pylon. Later this year, we’ll see the release of the long awaited ‘Killing Joke Symphony’, a projected set to combine frontman Jaz Coleman’s lifelong love of classical music with the work of Killing Joke, no doubt to fascinating effect.
Killing Joke’s June 2017 tour dates are:
12th June: Scala, London
14th June: Zeche Bochum, Bochum
15th June: Batschkapp Frankfurt
16th June: Werk 2, Leipzig
18th June: Fléda Club, Brno
19th June: Progresja, Warsaw
