Brooklyn quartet Parquet Courts are slated to return to UK shores in August for a five dates jaunt around the country, culminating in an appearance at the End Of The Road festival.
The festival date aside, the tour sees the band stick to the North, surprisingly forgoing the usual southern gig hot-spots such as London and Brighton. Parquet Courts rank amongst the most compelling and inventive groups operating at the moment, and their live show comfortably lives up to the quality of their studio records. The band last hit the UK in October, promoting their most recent LP ‘Human Performance’. London psych-pop duo Ultimate Painting will open all dates. Tickets are due to go on sale at 9am this Friday.
