Soul-singing powerhouse Rag and Bone Man has announced seven tour dates for this November, kicking off in Dublin on the 15th, and concluding in Brighton on the 28th.
Its been a dizzying twelve months for Rory Graham, who adopted the moniker of Rag’N’Bone Man as a teenaged drum and bass artist. After years of collaborating on various hip-hop projects, Graham released his first solo single, ‘Human’ in July last year. The track was, by most accounts, a mild success.
Just playing, Mr. G. ‘Human’ was, by any measure, the most successful debut of the year, and a solid contender for the years biggest hit – reaching number one in four countries, Gold status in eight, shifting nearly a million units in the UK, hitting the Christmas number two slot, and appearing on what seemed like every TV and game ad in existence. Graham took home two awards at the years Brit Awards, including British Breakthrough Act.
Graham released his debut album, also entitled, ‘Human’ in February 2017, achieving first week sales of over 100,000 copies, marking it as the highest selling record of the decade for a male solo act. The album eventually went twice platinum, with sales of over 600,000 copies.
This summer has seen Graham perform at Glastonbury, with sets at LoveBox, Bestival and Lollapolooza to come.
