The Big Moon play cowboys in the new video for the final single from their forthcoming album, ‘Love In The 4th Dimension’, which is out on 7th April on Fiction. ‘Sucker’ sees the four-piece dressing up in a classic Western setting, starring lead singer/songwriter Juliet Jackson in desperado mood, hard-hitting drummer Fern Ford as the abusive bad sheriff, glamorous bassist Celia Archer as the intrepid love interest and versatile guitarist Soph Nathan as everyone else in town. The gun-toting ending is too hot to reveal.

The video was shot by director Louis Bhose among the Joshua trees, dust and cactuses of Pioneertown, the southern California community built as a live-in Old West movie set in the 1940s. As well as legendary films, Pioneertown has previously hosted musicians such as Robert Plant, Eric Burdon and Paul McCartney. The Big Moon bring that musical and movie heritage together in their mini-epic of just under four minutes.
The lilting and anthemic ‘Sucker’ — originally recorded as the band’s first single in 2015 — traditionally ends the group’s joyous sets, with the crowd singing along to the heart-warming words “I never thought that you would be-come my greatest friend”. The band wowed The Windmill in Brixton on 25th January as part of Independent Venue Week, playing a big, sold-out 11-song set.
